Shore Hall is a beautifully preserved 16th-century manor house set within 22 acres of rolling English countryside, right on the border between Essex and Suffolk. Just a short journey from London and easily reachable from major airports, it’s the perfect escape for those craving peace, creativity, and connection.

The Macrame Retreats Includes
You'll be staying in a serene and beautiful manor house surrounded in nature where you'll find comfort and tranquility.
All of your meals are vegetarian and made with fresh ingredients to nourishing your body and fuelling your energy throughout the retreat.
Begin each day with a beginner friendly meditation & journaling session led by Isabella, we will start each day with mindful presence
Open your mind and heart to creativity fully and embrace creativity through another craft. So far we had hand build clay, botanical dye & candle making.
Through out the day you can take a break anytime you wish to unwind, nap, rest and reflect in the peaceful surroundings.
You will be guided and mentored by Isabella in making a macrame piece designed exclusively for the macrame retreat. You will be able to choose the macrame project that suits your skills. All the materials and equipments is included

Who's the macrame retreat for?
Anyone that love macrame or wants to learn macrame in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature and creative women from around the world.
Can I join if I am a beginner/never macrame before?
YES you can, for every retreat I design two macrame projects. One for beginners and one for advanced macrame makers.
We always have a couple of people that are new to macrame and the retreat is a fantastic place to dive deep into the art of knotting.
Would I need to purchase/bring any materials?
No, everything is included for your macrame projects and any other workshops or activity included during the retreat.
Can I join if I am a advanced macrame before?
YES you can, for every retreat I design two macrame projects. One for beginners and one for advanced macrame makers.
You will also have the opportunity to amend the pattern to add your own twist or style if you wish
What's included in the macrame retreat?
In a nut shell, everything except transportation to the retreat venue
I have special dietary requirements, can I join?
Yes you can, we try to accommodate everyone's requirements. So far we had women attending with lactose and gluten intolerances & vegan.
When you join the retreat you will be sent a questionnaire to fill with any special requirements.
What's not included in the macrame retreat?
Transportation to the retreat venue(Flights, trains, taxi etc)
Traveler's insurance (highly recommended)
What's the best way to get there?
The closest train station is Audley End, it's about a 20-minute drive.
Stansted is just under 30 mins drive away.
Before the retreat, we'll create a Telegram group where you'll be able to connect with the other retreat participants and coordinate transfers/lifts together if you choose.
