for macrame retreats

Cancellation & Refund Policy -
The retreat runs on a strict policy of a non-refundable deposit booking fee.
To gain a refund of the deposit booking fee you must contact us within 72 hours after the booking is made.
The deposit can not be refunded under any circumstance. This includes if you, or we need to cancel for any reason. This includes a change of circumstances due to COVID-19, i.e, that you have tested positive for COVID-19 and cannot attend the retreat. This includes any illness or injury that may prevent you from attending the event. This includes any reason why you may not be able to attend the retreat. This is to cover our costs as a small business running these special events that we put so much love & care into.
The deposit con not be transferred to another retreat or person.
If you do not show up on the day of your retreat we cannot provide any refunds.
We cannot refund any fees you have paid at booking including any service charges or absorb fees. This is because the cost of your ticket covers our running costs. 
By purchasing your ticket you are responsible for taking any safety precautions to ensure your attendance at the retreat. Isabella Strambio, cannot take any responsibility to ensure your attendance at our retreat.
Isabella Strambio, reserve the right to cancel the retreat for any reason. If Isabella Strambio, decide for whatever reason that we are no longer able to hold the retreat for any reason, we will move the retreat to a later date in the year and go ahead with it when we are able. In this case, we cannot offer any refunds whatsoever, & your ticket will be valid for use on this new specified date.
Isabella Strambio is not liable under any circumstances of Natural Disaster, War, Pandemic, Failure by the Venue or other situation that is out of Isabella’s control. Refunds will not be available. Isabella will do her best to sort alternative arrangements depending on the scale of the situation.

Most people don’t think about the need for insurance when travelling especially within the UK but the unexpected can always happen and if you need to cancel your visit to us you could lose your deposit or even the full cost of the retreat therefore it is strongly advised all our guests to arrange Personal Accident and Travel/Cancellation Insurance when booking onto one of our retreats and recommend you take time to research a company that suits your personally. 

Booking & Payment Plans-
After you have booked the retreat by paying the deposit booking fee you will be contacted to pay the remaining outstanding balance by the 1st of April 2023, either in full or with a payment plan of 3,4,5 or 6 payments that will be set up within 30 days of paying the deposit booking fee for the retreat.
If you fail to pay the remaining fee for the retreat by the 1st of April 2023 we cannot refund your initial 50% deposit. If you fail to pay the remaining fee for the retreat by the 1st of April 2023 your space for the retreat you have purchased will not be valid, will be cancelled, and it will be given to someone else on the waiting list.

If you are taking public transport, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance in the event that you have to cancel due to injury or illness. We cannot take any responsibility for any of your travel arrangements if we or you cancel the event.

Medical Conditions & Special Requirements-
The client must inform Isabella Strambio on the registration form of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability or any other mental and or physical condition which may affect fitness to travel, including medications you are currently taking. Failure to notify us may result in the Client being refused certain activities during the retreat at the Client’s own expense. Some retreats may be unsuitable for Clients due to age, mobility, disability, pregnancy or physical or mental conditions, please email if you have concerns.
It is absolutely vital that you are accurate with your fitness level and medical conditions for your own safety.
Isabella Strambio, will do her best to meet special requests including dietary or physical limitations but such requests may not always be possible depending on the retreat, in which case I, Isabella Strambio, reserve the right to refuse Clients with certain conditions.

Isabella Strambio, local guides, participants or hosts decisions will at all times be final on all matters likely to affect the safety and well-being of the trip and participants. We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the retreat if their behaviour is disruptive to the running of the retreat or the other participant or staff. If you withdraw from the retreat at any time or if you are requested to leave due to disruptive behaviour, no part of the retreat fee shall be refunded. In case of our staff’s decision to ask you to leave, all matters arising from a dispute are subject to English law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Isabella Strambio shall in no event be held liable for any loss or other damages including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential or any other damages.

Claims & Complaints-
If a Client has a complaint against Isabella Strambio or one of her staff, the Client must first inform me at the earliest opportunity to allow the grievance to be rectified. Failure to indicate dissatisfaction whilst on retreat will result in the Client’s ability to claim compensation from Isabella Strambio being extinguished or at least reduced. If satisfaction is still not reached through these means on retreat then any further complaint must be put in writing to me, Isabella Strambio, within 30 days of the end of the trip.

Client Responsibility-
The Client is solely responsible for acquainting themselves with customs, weather conditions, physical challenges on the retreat.

Photos, Video & Content Creation-
In the course of participation in the retreats, photos or videos may be taken by Isabella Strambio, participants, guides and professional photographers. These images may be used in any on Isabella Strambio, promotional materials, website, all social media platforms (i.e. Instagram), etc., unless Clients specifically request to the photographer or in writing to me, to not use any material your image is depicted in. Otherwise, permission is granted to Isabella Strambio to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.

Data Protection-
To ensure that retreats run smoothly, Isabella need to use personal information (such as name, address, special needs, health conditions, dietary requirements, next to kin etc.) provided by Clients to Isabella Strambio and also pass on such information to other outfitters/guides or suppliers involved in the operation of the retreat. Isabella Strambio will apply appropriate security measures to protect such personal data. By completing the Retreat Booking Form, Clients consent to this information being transferred as required.

Acceptance of Risk-
The Client acknowledges that the nature of the retreat can be adventurous and may involve a significant amount of personal risk. The Client hereby assumes all such risk and does hereby release Isabella Strambio from all claims and causes of action arising from any damages or injuries or death resulting from these inherent risks. By booking, the Client is agreeing to all terms & conditions. Please read carefully.

Waiver of Booking Conditions-
When a Client completes, submits and makes the payment for booking their place for a retreat, they agree to accept all these conditions, and when the booking is accepted, Isabella Strambio agrees to carry out the obligations as defined therein.

Isabella Strambio and her staff does not diagnose, prescribe, treat, or cure any disease or condition either physical or mental. Retreat offerings should not be construed as a prescription, a promise of benefits, claims of cures, or a guarantee of results to be achieved. Our programmes are provided for informational, educational, and self-empowerment purposes. 
Any information, instruction or advice given is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical or psychological diagnosis and care. You should not discontinue or modify any medication and/or treatment presently being taken pursuant to medical advice without obtaining approval from your healthcare professional.
Isabella Strambio and her staff does not accept any liability for participant’s medical or psychiatric conditions which may exist or which may arise during or subsequent to participation on the retreat.
Always consult your healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet, lifestyle or prescription medications.

Booking Information-
The retreat cost includes the retreat fee, accommodation, and all the meals during your stay. Travel to the retreat is not included in the price.
Transfer from airports to the venue can be arranged for a small additional fee and will be discussed with each individual participant upon booking.
Special diets can be catered.

Updating of Terms & Conditions-
Isabella Strambio reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is the Client’s responsibility to be familiar with them.
