Slow and steady wins the race, my friend!
I get it, it’s tempting when you find that new brilliant hobby or pattern to jump right in — but it’s important to look at mastering the basis before you leap!
I would not want you to waste time, material and energy on too complex projects until you are ready.
Let's start by learning about the basic ABC’s of this project (AKA: choosing the right materials, tools and learning the square knot) and take your time while you do it.
Your future self will thank you for trusting your matchmaker guide and decided to get the right tools and materials with no further waste of time and money as you master the art of endurance while you perfect your skills.
Even the quickest learner should come to know that patience is a virtue in the knotting world of macrame.
Life’s just too short to be sweating over the speed of your knots! If there’s anything this hobby will teach you, it’s that mistakes happen to even the most seasoned macrame artists. Yes, even me, your macrame matchmaker!!!
Let’s be real, life is FULL of mistakes, and the mindful art of knotting is no different. Save yourself the frustration because you now have your fairy macrame Godmother to support you.
Understand that you’re going to mess it up (many times), that's ok and part of the process.
Remember: macrame is the yoga for the mind
